Overview

With the RA 55|BM 40 CYCLE columbus is heralding a new era in sustainability. The tank of the walk-behind scrubber dryer is made of 100 percent recycled plastic. This consistency gives us a unique selling point in the mid-range of 40 to 60-litre walk-behind scrubber dryers. Only offcuts and rejects from the production of our supplier of rotary sintered parts are used for the manufacture of the tank; an aspect that guarantees the grade purity of the PE material. The material is collected into larger batches, chopped and ground into powder, which is fed into the identical rotational moulding process using columbus moulds. In this way, an identical quality is given compared to our standard tanks. There is no colour sorting or mixing of the raw material. This saves energy and storage space, transport and the mixing process. No two tanks are alike.
